Cleaning and disinfecting are two steps

Disinfectant applied over dirt does very little — the surface has to be cleaned first, then the product has to sit for its full dwell time before it is wiped. Skipping either step is why a lot of disinfecting accomplishes nothing, so we do both in order.

Touch points, not square footage

The value is in the small surfaces, not the large ones. Handles, switches, rails, faucet levers, lift buttons, shared keyboards, phone handsets, appliance controls and the edge of every door people push open with a hand.

After an illness, or on a schedule

One-off after something has gone through the house or the office, or a standing add-on to your regular visit through the winter. Both are quoted against the number of touch points rather than the floor area.

Questions people ask

Is this the same as a regular clean?

No. A regular clean removes dirt; this targets the surfaces hands transfer things across. Most clients add it to a clean rather than choose between them.

What products do you use?

Standard commercial disinfectants applied at their labelled dwell time. If someone in the house has a sensitivity, tell us and we will work around it.

How soon can you come after someone has been ill?

Usually within a day or two. Tell us when booking so the crew arrives prepared rather than finding out on site.
